MINBIZCON 2024

It has been 351 days since we last basked in a time of prosperity, growth, and innovation. From September 11 to 14, ABM students from grades 11 and 12 embarked on an inspiring journey to General Santos City to participate in the 33rd Mindanao Business Conference—an event that served as a beacon for the bold and ambitious.

Under the theme “Unlocking the Potentials and Opportunities in Mindanao,” we immersed ourselves among visionaries for two transformative days, gaining invaluable insights into the dynamic landscapes of business and marketing. This conference was not merely a gathering of minds; it was a vibrant convergence of ideas and possibilities, a fertile ground where the sparks of innovation ignited inspiration. Each plenary session etched lessons into our minds, and every conversation added a new chapter to our personal and collective growth. For us, this trip transcended the notion of a destination; it marked a significant milestone in our journey toward a deeper understanding of the world we aspire to navigate.

On the final day of our Gensan adventure, we embraced the spirit of discovery with a visit to the PhilExport Tuna Factory—a place where the realms of industry and commerce come alive. The experience left us in awe of the dedication and precision that underpin what many often take for granted. It was a profound lesson in respect—for the fishermen who brave the unpredictable seas, for the workers who meticulously handle every step of the process, and for the industry that bridges local efforts with global markets.

As we approach the conclusion of 2024, we find ourselves reflecting not on fleeting memories, but on the profound lessons that have woven themselves into the very fabric of our identities. Each experience, every challenge, and each moment of joy has left an indelible mark, shaping the foundation of our journey. These stories are no longer mere echoes of the past; they are the essential building blocks of the future we are diligently crafting.
